Blitz Tournament

Blitz tournament is a side event of the Columbus Chess League and open to anyone, whether entered in the regular league games or not.

Site: Donatos Pizza, 2084 N High St, Columbus, OH (OSU campus, just south of Lane Ave). Games will be played in the basement party room, down one flight of stairs… sorry, no wheelchair or handicap access. On–street parking only, meters are free on Sunday.

Format: G/5, no delay, blitz rules apply (clock move, loss of game on illegal move, etc.). At least 8 rounds planned, actual number of rounds, pairing format and sections will depend on entries. Games will be quick rated, USCF membership required.

Entry fee $10, 70% paid out as prizes. Registration on site only, 5-5:45pm, rounds begin 6pm, end approx 8:30pm.
