  • Grant Neilley - CPA, Founder and President

Grant Neilley

Originally growing up on the family farm outside Cambridge Ohio, Grant began his accounting career in 1982 at Deloitte & Touche in Columbus after graduating from Ohio State University. He has served as President, Controller, Director of Operations, Treasurer, Tax Manager and board member in a variety of accounting firms, small businesses, and community and charitable organizations. He founded Neilley & Co. CPAs and enjoys speaking engagements.

Grant and his wife Sue are active in 4-H on the state, county and local levels. They are nationally certified instructors in the 4-H Living History project, portraying country folk at the time of Ohio statehood with a special emphasis on period games. Sue is a swim instructor and registered dietitian. Grant is also active in chess as a certified Tournament Director with the United States Chess Federation, director of a local club, and on the board of the Ohio Scholastic Chess Association. They have home-schooled their four children, and enjoy camping, skiing, and raising small livestock.

O'Neil

Barbara worked for fifteen years in corporate accounting before deciding to return to school to complete her degree in 1993. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio with a B.S. in Accounting. After graduation, her career focus changed to public accounting. With her background in corporate accounting she has a strong understanding of the internal accounting systems and the daily needs and problems encountered by clients. Barbara specializes in assisting businesses in financial statement and tax preparation, as well as providing training and consulting in QuickBooks issues. Originally from Seattle, Washington she moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1991, and joined Neilley & Co. in 2001. Barbara is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.

Barbara, and her husband Bud, attend the Vineyard Church of Delaware County. They sponsor a Kenyan girl through Compassion International, an organization which advocates for children to release them from poverty, enabling them to become responsible and fulfilled Christian adults. Barbara has a great love of the outdoors and enjoys camping, hiking, fishing, and Morel Mushroom hunting.

Cassia

Cassia is originally from central Iowa and moved to Ohio with her daughter Pyper to be closer to family. She plans to return to college part-time to finish her degree. Cassia enjoys horseback riding and loves to read, especially with her daughter. Spending time with her family and being outdoors are important parts of her life.
